GRIPIN & TWENTY7 – San Diego Concert

Rock guitars over thoughtful chants; well-known pop-rock band Gripin from Turkey announces its tour dates with stops in Boston, Los Angeles, New York, Oakland, San Diego, and Washington DC. Joining Gripin is Twenty7, an ethnic rock band based in Los Angeles.

Opening that night is HARGO, a four-piece band dubbed “San Diego’s Rock Shamans” and hand-picked by Don Was in May out of 3,000 bands for their unique, thunderous live show. First burst on the scene in 2011, HARGO is reaching new heights in 2012 with their cascading full-length debut OUT OF MANKIND.

We will also have special guest Selen Ermanav dance to some of our songs. Selen is a dancer/choreographer with a BA in Dance and a vast background in multiple dance disciplines. With over 18 years of dance experience, she has choreographed modern stage compositions, including commercial dance for TV shows (FOX, SPIKE TV), and performed for a variety of LA-based vocal artists. ABOUT GRIPIN:

Formed in 2000, Gripin is a 4-member pop/rock band that has performed over 200 concerts in Europe and Azerbaijan during the past 2 years, while sharing the stage with internationally known acts such as Cake, Evanescence, and Franz Ferdinand. The band released its first album “Hikayeler Anlatildi” in 2004, the second edition of the first album in 2005, a self-titled album in 2007, its 3rd album “M.S.05.03.2010” in 2010, and its latest album in November 2012. The band has won numerous awards, landed commercial deals, and licensed its songs to several television sitcoms.
