Dear Member of the Congressional Caucus on U.S.-Turkey Relations and Turkish Americans:

The Assembly of Turkish American Associations (ATAA), established in 1979, represents over 500,000 Turkish and Turkic Americans across this great nation. We have 10 regional vice presidents and over 60 local chapters actively engaged in grassroots.

ATAA members and friends thank you for being a member of the Turkish Caucus. The Turkish Caucus includes 157 Members from every region of the country and is one of the largest caucuses in Congress.

Your active role in the Turkish Caucus helps bring balance to issues relating to U.S.-Turkey relations and Turkish Americans. As Turkey is a key multilevel partner of the United States in the intercontinental region of Eurasia, the Middle East, and Africa, Turkish Americans constitute a key heritage community as interlocutors between the United States and Turkey. Turkish Americans contribute richly to the social, political and economic life of America.

As elections near, ATAA will utilize its extensive database at the local levels to make sure that Turkish Americans and their friends are aware of your membership in the Turkish Caucus and activities to support US-Turkish relations and Turkish American interests.

Also, we would like to invite you to the 10th Annual Turkish Festival, 11am to 7pm in Freedom Plaza, Washington, D.C. on Sunday, September 30, 2012. The Festival is organized by the American Turkish Association of Washington DC (ATA-DC), a member organization of the Assembly of Turkish American Associations (ATAA).

We look forward to seeing you this Sunday.

Kind regards,

Ergün Kırlıkovalı
President
Assembly of Turkish American Associations (ATAA) KürŞad Doğru
