FTAA condemns the attack in Newtown

We, the Federation of Turkish American Associations, are deeply saddened by today’s tragedy that occurred at an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut, that took the lives of innocent people.

We are all stunned, shocked, and distraught by this tragic shooting, by this violent act, and by the loss of so many innocent young lives.

During times of such unthinkable tragedy, the entire Turkish American Community stands together with the people of Newtown to grieve the loss of life and help bear the pain and anguish.

Our condolences go out to the families and loved ones who lost their lives in this heinous attack.
