Our local Turkish pianist Ayşe Taşpınar will give a piano recital this Saturday, November 19th. All proceeds from the concert will be donated to Kızılay for the Van earthquake survivors. Seats are filling up quickly; you must send an e-mail to rsvp@laturks.org to reserve your seats.

This concert is part of LATAA’s Van Earthquake Relief Campaign, and a donation for the campaign is strongly encouraged. When you e-mail your reservation, if you choose to do so, you may make your donation online through the LATAA donation page either with your Paypal account or credit card. We will not be collecting donations at the door due to library rules and regulations.
Note that the schedule has changed since the last LATAA newsletter. Please arrive at 6:00pm to make it to the concert on time.There will be a reception following the concert at 8:00pm with food provided by Arli’s Catering.
