Turkish foreign minister appears on televised interview, comments on Venezuela crisis
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu

Turkey’s foreign minister on Thursday says the United States has repeatedly interfered with the domestic politics of Venezuela as Washington recognized opposition-controlled National Assembly’s President Juan Guaido as interim president.
“The U.S. and some Latin American countries have repeatedly intervened in internal affairs of Venezuela,” Mevlut Cavusoglu tells a live interview on Turkish news channel AHaber.
It is “very strange” that Venezuela’s National Assembly leader declared himself interim president despite there the fact that there is an elected president in office, Cavusoglu said.
